  • 2 great seasons, 14 good seasons and 6 terrible seasons do not a Hall of Fame player make. If Tommy John, Ron Guidry, and Luis Tiant, all aces of their staffs during your era are not in the Hall of Fame then I can't see the case for you. You were a very nice pitcher, but not HOF.
